More square foot gardening

We finally got the protective topper made for our herb garden. Hopefully this will keep those unwanted pests (Mordecai!) out of our herbs.

For the topper you need... 1x2in untreated wood... nails.... hammer... staple gun... chicken wire... and wire cutters.

Staple the wire to the wood. Cut a side panel and attach it with twist ties or leftover wire. We'll see how well it works. Our next project is a larger box for veggies...
